Snow Storm Winds Down Overnight - Areas of Heavier Snow Persist Through 12am

Areas of moderate to locally heavy snow will continue across the region through midnight with a trend towards lighter and more intermittent snowfall developing.  Snowfall will become much lighter and scattered in nature after midnight tapering to scattered snow showers towards daybreak.  Additional accumulations of 1"-4" likely in many areas through 3am.  Slow and slick travel conditions with reduced visibility at times persisting through the night.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

August 12, 1968 - Ft. Henry gets new cannon

On this day back in 1968... A ceremony for the arrival of a brand new cannon at Fort Henry.
  
On the fourth of July the year before.. workers there had trouble getting the old cannon to work.
  
They replaced it with a new one... that also had some trouble.

Eventually it did work.
