Light to Locally Moderate Snow Storm Starting Sunday PM - Ending Early Monday

A weak area of low pressure will cross the region from late Sunday through early Monday morning bringing a period of accumulating snow which will begin as some light and spotty snow on Sunday afternoon. A steadier snow will develop through the evening and into Sunday night. Expect slow and slick travel conditions Sunday night with variable snow accumulations ranging from 1"-3 in the Capital Region to as much as 5"-7" in terrain favored areas in the Adirondacks, Lake George-Saratoga Region, Vermont and Berkshire County.

On this day back in 1970, we were reporting on a new trend taking hold at local gas stations.

The days of only men working at gas stations coming to an end, with women seen pumping gas and wiping windshields.
