Patchy Freezing Drizzle Possible Through the Remainder of the Night

The main surge of steady mixed wintry precipitation has moved out of the region with a potential for some periods of freezing drizzle through the remainder of the night glazing untreated and elevated surfaces.  Temperatures will continue to slowly rise overnight, likely into the lower 30s towards daybreak, with much improved travel conditions for the Wednesday morning commute.

August 21, 1967 - Heading to Expo '67

On this day in our history in 1967, five members of the Florida water ski team on their way to the World's Fair in Montreal made a stop in Troy,  treating spectators to a performance on the Hudson.

They did the entire journey by way of water, sometimes traveling more than 150 miles a day.
   
The girls ranged from ages 12 to 27.
