May 29, 1966 - Beginning of end for the milk man

On this day in our history in 1966, New York State started allowing dairies to service stores over a larger area than what they had been able to before, signaling the beginning of the end for the milk man!

Charles Dake, the president of Stewart's ice cream company in Saratoga Springs said although the milk man became a dwindling breed, he'd never become extinct!May 29, 1966 - Beginning of end for the milk man
