Pockets of Freezing Rain May Lead to Slick Spots

Pockets of freezing rain will remain possible into early afternoon for parts of the area. Areas most prone to slick surfaces include the Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley, Catskills, Berkshires and southern Vermont. Any glazing will be light but only a small amount of ice on an untreated surface can make it slippery. As temperatures warm above freezing through the afternoon, all precipitation will change over to just plain rain.

Bottom Line: Suspicious e-mails

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 10:17 PM EDT
ALBANY -- A Bottom Line alert is out from SEFCU, warning people about suspicious e-mails around tax time.
SEFCU said that scammers are sending the e-mails appearing to be from legitimate companies including Turbo Tax, and they ask you to click on a link or attachment to read an important message.  However, clicking will download malware onto your computer and give the scammers access to your personal information.  SEFCU told CBS6's Dori Marlin that they don't know of any members affected by the scam, but they warn not to click on anything and delete any such e-mail immediately.Bottom Line: Suspicious e-mails
