LATHAM -- A Brunswick man is facing a long list of charges after State Police say he dragged his wife out of their home, attacked her and led police on a chase on Monday.
Officials say Seth Brooks, 40, dragged his wife out of their Brunswick home and into his vehicle, where he allegedly threatened to kill her. According to authorities, he drove around with her in the car and ended up in a parking lot on Hoosick Street in Troy.
Police say a good Samaritan confronted Brooks after he witnessed the man allegedly assault his wife. That's when authorities say the suspect took off on Alternate Route 7.
The good Samaritan alerted police, and while they were trying to find the car involved, Brooks' wife called 911 from inside the car. State Police say she was able to tell them where she was while being attacked.
Officials say that after leading Troopers on a chase, Brooks was finally arrested on the Northway near Exit 4. His wife was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
