Corinth crash injures two, one charged
CORINTH -- Two women were hurt following a crash early Sunday morning.
Saratoga County Sheriff's Deputies responded at about 1:46 a.m. for a report of a one-car crash with injuries on West Maple Street in the village.
Deputies found a 2004 Honda Pilot that had struck a tree, and two female occupants, both with injuries.
The operator, identified as Kiera T. Daniels, 26, of Troy, was transported to Saratoga Hospital for neck pain and bruising. She was treated and released.
The passenger, identified as Ariannah S. Reyes, 24, of Troy, was transported to Saratoga Hospital for neck pain, and was later transferred to Albany Medical Center, where she is listed in stable condition.
Following investigation of the crash, Daniels was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a class A misdemeanor; Vehicular Assault Second Degree, a class E felony; and Fail to Keep Right, a violation.
She was arraigned by Corinth Town Justice Lane Schermerhorn and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1000 cash bail or $2000 secure bond.
