Hoosick Falls declares State of Emergency

HOOSICK FALLS -- The mayor of Hoosick Falls has declared a state of emergency for the village, due to severe flooding.

Multiple areas in the village have sever flooding, including over roads and in houses.

The declaration asks that residents refrain from unnecessary travel and report any immediate safety issues to 911.

Updates will be available on the Village website and the Hoosick Community Facebook page.
