Interviews underway for state attorney general post
Lawmakers are interviewing candidates to decide who should replace former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
Schneiderman resigned last week, amid allegations of physical violence against women.
Acting Attorney General Barbara Underwood began her interview by saying no one expected what happened, and that she was shocked by the allegations against Schneiderman.
She said her goal is to move the work of the office forward, and she is not planning to run for the position when this term is up.
