Man arrested, accused of making threats at social service office
ALBANY, NY (WRGB) - A Voorheesville man has been accused of making a terroristic threat while at an office of Albany County Department of Social Services offices, according to the Albany County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the responded after receiving a report that 23 year old Robert Girouard made t threatening statement to security guards at the Department of Social Services regarding possessing a gun and bringing it to the Albany County main offices.
Investigatrs say Girouard was upset for recently being terminated as a security guard for Albany County.
Sheriff’s Investigators arrested and charged him with Petit larceny on April 18th for stealing an iPad from a co-worker’s locker.
Girouard was arrested by Sheriff’s Investigators at his residence and charged with one count of Making a terroristic threat.
