One hospitalized after Clinton Avenue shooting
ALBANY -- A 20-year-old male is in Albany Medical Center this evening, after a shooting in the city.
Police responded to the 400 block of Central Avenue at about 4 p.m., answering a report of a shooting. On arrival, they found a male victim with a single gunshot wound to the torso.
Investigation determined that the victim was shot on the 700 block of Clinton Avenue, and went to Central Avenue seeking help.
The victim was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
