Police: Schenectady man arrested in Swastika incident
SCHENECTADY, NY (WRGB)--Schenectady police have arrested 54-year-old Andrew King on a misdemeanor charge.
Police were called to 523 Chiswell Rd on February 17th, by king who said overnight an unknown individual spray painted swastikas on his house.
After an investigation, King was arrested and charged with falsely reporting and incident, and police say he allegedly sprayed the graffiti on his own residence.
King also was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the City of Schenectady Police Department for harassment.
The warrant was issued in regards to an incident that occurred on February 15, 2017 at 620 State St.
During that incident, it is alleged that King made threats to harm an individual.
King is set to appear in court Tuesday morning.
