Price Chopper, Market 32 recall bakery items due to incomplete labels
SCHENECTADY -- Price Chopper and Market 32 supermarkets are voluntarily recalling certain store-made bakery items.
Company officials say that due to a computer error, some items may have labels with incomplete allergen information.
Customers who have a bakery product whose label is missing allergen information can return it to their local Price Chopper or Market 32 for a full refund. Most customers who purchased these products have already been contacted through the company's SoundBite program, which uses data and phone numbers connected to the AdvantEdge loyalty program to alert those households.
There are no health risks for customers who are not allergic to wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, or soy.
For a complete list of items being recalled, consumers are invited to visit http://www.pricechopper.com or call 1-800-666-7667.
