SCHENECTADY COUNTY

Duanesburg Central School District
2017-2018 Budget -- $16,317,500 -- $687,268 spending increase – 1.91% tax levy increase APPROVED
Prop: Bus purchases (3 buses) $270,000 APPROVED
Prop: Property purchase $100,000 APPROVED
3 School Board Seats (4 candidates)Elected to Board of Education: Jennifer Sexton, Camille J. Siano Enders, Joshua Menzies

Mohonasen Central School District
2017-2018 Budget -- $50,940,000 -- $2.6 million spending increase – 2.83% tax levy APPROVED
Prop: Bus purchases (4 buses) $420,000 APPROVED
2 School Board Seats (2 candidates)Residents also elected incumbent Lisa Gaglioti (828 votes) and former board member Stacy MacTurk (860 votes) to the Board of Education. Candidates ran at-large and were elected to unpaid, three-year terms beginning July 1.

Niskayuna Central School District
2017-2018 Budget -- $81,400,312 -- $957,407 increase (1.19%) -- $1,131,872 (2.08%) tax levy increase APPROVED
Prop: $766,676 (10 buses) APPROVED

Schalmont Central School District
2017-2018 Budget -- $47.2 million -- $675,959 (1.45%) spending increase – 1.46% tax levy increase APPROVED
Prop: Bus purchases (5 buses) $480,000 APPROVED
Mike Pasquarella and Kevin Thompson to fill open position on the board of education.


Schenectady City School District
2017-2018 Budget -- $213,578,520 -- $8,731,322 spending increase – 2.04% tax levy decrease APPROVED
Prop: Capital Project Phase II $64.5 Million APPROVED
Prop: Creation of Reserve Fund for Phase II APPROVED
3 School Board Seats (6 candidates): Bernice Rivera 866, Katherine Stephens 695, Dharam Hitlall 622

Scotia-Glenville Central School District
2017-2018 Budget -- $53,406,966 – 2.6% spending increase – 3.61% tax levy increase PASSED
Prop: Bus Purchase (6 buses) $565,000 PASSED
3 School Board Seats (4 candidates) All ran unopposed
