State Police arrest Schenectady men for drug possession
ALBANY, NY (WRGB) New York State Police arrested two Schenectady men on felony drug possession charges on Sunday morning.
Investigators say that Jeffrey Solivan and Gilberto Alvarez were found to be in possession of heroin after a Trooper conducted a traffic stop near Exit 23 of the New York State Thruway. They were both charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
State Police say that Solivan and Alvarez were arraigned in the Albany City Court and remanded to Albany County Jail. Both are scheduled to appear in court at a a later date.
