State Police looking for suspect in ATM skimming ring
ALBANY, NY (WRGB) State Police are looking to identify a suspect in what they are saying is a crime ring involving skimming devices on ATM machines.
Police say between January and April 2017 skimming devices were found at two bank locations in Glens Falls and another at a bank in Saratoga Springs.
Investigators say counterfeit cards were then made and used at ATM's in Albany, Schenectady and Poughkeepsie.
Police say information from 119 bank accounts were then stolen. Those customers have since been reimbursed.
