Stillwater man faces multiple charges
STILLWATER -- A Stillwater man is charged with both felony and misdemeanor counts after two incidents in the Town and Village of Stillwater.
Police say Barry T. Chura, 60, obtained a debit card belonging to someone else, and used it to withdraw money from an ATM. They say he then tried to use it at a different ATM the next day.
Chura is charged with with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree, a felony; 2 counts of Identity Theft in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor; 1 count of Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor; and 1 count of Attempted Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.
He was processed and released pending arraignment and prosecution in Stillwater Town Court.
