South Troy Dodgers heading back to Connie Mack World Series

South Troy Dodgers heading back to Connie Mack World Series (WRGB)

TROY, NY (WRGB)--Kevin rogers had his team one win from ending a two-year drought.

But first, South Troy would have to get past Toronto.

The Mets have a runner in scoring position in the top of the first when Daniel Carinci slaps a base knock into left

The run should score easily, but Nick Grabek comes up gunning and gets the out at first.

That'd be one of the few chances for Toronto, as the Dodgers' starter Ryan Lambert strikes out 13 batters, including three in the 4th.

Binghamton University will be getting a stud next Fall, and Toronto does manage to score a run in the 5th.

But here comes South Troy, the bottom of the 6th, the tying run is 90 feet away , and Grabek lines one off of the first baseman Nick Kondo scores, and we're all tied 1-1.

South Troy loaded the bases in the 7th but failed to score and once again the bases are full of Dodgers when Brad Hipsley comes through as the Dodgers win 2-1.
