TROY, NY (WRGB)--The reigning New York Penn League champion State College Spikes are in Troy for a three game series.

Hunter Martin was not intimidated and he came out dealing.

The Astros 2017 20th round draft pick carried a no-hitter into the fourth, and ended up allowing just one hit with two strikeouts on the evening.

Scoreless in the third and Luis Payano gets a hold of one that sails over the center fielder's head.

The ValleyCats take a 1-0 lead on the RBI double.

Two batters later, Abraham Toro drops one into shallow right, and two more runs cross the plate making it 3-0 TriCity.

The Astros knew they were getting some power in big ten player of the year Jake Adams, and the 6th rounder delivers again in the fifth, capping a five-run frame with a two-run shot over the Tri-City bullpen.

The ValleyCats go on to win 7-0.
