Meet the ValleyCats 2014

Troy, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats met the local media Wednesday afternoon at Joe Bruno Stadium, where they are scheduled to play their regular season opener Friday night against Connecticut.

Among the returning players from the 2013 New York-Penn League champions is Troy Scribner, a right-handed pitcher who grew up 90 miles from Troy in western Connecticut.

Scribner was signed in 2013 by the parent Houston Astros as an undrafted free agent out of Sacred Heart University.Meet the ValleyCats 2014
