MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW STORM WED. AM THROUGH WED. NIGHT

Low pressure developing off the Southeast coast will quickly move northeast tracking south of New England through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning and fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Local lawmakers give back almost $170,000 to taxpayers


Greg Flod reports on lawmakers spending taxpayer money in questionable ways -- but he also tells us when they save taxpayers money.
Congressman Bill Owens from the North County announced that he is returning to federal coffers $75,000 of the money he was allotted for office expenses in 2012. It's the fourth straight year Owen's has done it, bringing his grand total of savings to almost $400,000.
Congressman Paul Tonko has done the same, returning $95,000 from last year's budget bringing his grand savings total to $410,000.
Congressman Chris Gibson's office says they don't have a final number of office money but said, due to redistricting, they were forced to spend additional money to close three offices that were no longer in the district.
