Union Hockey gets send off from Schenectady

SCHENECTADY -- The City of Schenectady gave the Union College Hockey team a big sendoff on its way to the Frozen Four.

The Dutchmen leave on Tuesday, but the city's officials wanted to make sure they left with a little swagger. The Mayor and members of the County Legislature, the Chamber of Commerce and local business leaders unveiled a giant banner of support that will hang on the pedestrian bridge on Erie Boulevard near North Jay.

Union plays Boston College on Thursday for the chance to advance to the Frozen Four championship game.
