Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Body found in Housatonic after canoe overturns

STOCKBRIDGE - A 21-year-old man was found dead after the canoe he and a friend were in overturned into cold waters of the Housatonic River.

Police say, Ruepert Norris-Vonbochbrader from Alford Mass, and another man were out on the canoe at around 2:00 in the morning when the canoe flipped.  One swam to shore and called police. Norris-Vonbochbrader disappeared.

Berkshire County and state police dive teams were called in early Saturday morning. 

Norris-Vonbochbrader was found by dive teams at 11:30 am Saturday.

Police are still investigating.
