D.A.: Grandmother indicted in connection with grandson's death

SCHENECTADY -- The Schenectady County District Attorney's Office decided on a notice to indict Gloria Nelligan, the Schenectady grandmother accused of beating her grandson to death.

Police say last month, Nelligan repeatedly beat her 8-year-old grandson over a prolonged period, causing his death.

Three other kids under the age of 13 were in the house at the time.

They have all been removed and are staying with other family members.
