Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

BREAKING NEWS: North Korea makes new threat

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- The latest threatening talk from North Korea's military is about its artillery forces being at their highest-level combat posture. South Korea says it isn't seeing any suspicious North Korean military activity. Analysts say a direct North Korean attack is extremely unlikely and the threats are designed partly to strengthen internal loyalty to leader Kim Jong Un.
