Police investigate assault and robbery in Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Saratoga Police are still looking for the man who beat up and robbed a woman near Caroline Street.
It happened around 10 p.m. on Saturday night.
The victim told police she was walking alone and had just turned off of Caroline Street onto Granger Avenue when she was attacked.
She told investigators the man hit her repeatedly in the head and face while demanding money from her. He took off on foot with with an unknown amount of cash.
The victim was able to get to a nearby house and call 911. She was hospitalized for her injuries but they are non-life threatening.
The suspect is a white man in his twenties, 5'8" to 5'10" with short brown hair.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to contact Saratoga Springs Police.
