Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Police release names of 4 killed in rollover

OSWEGO (AP) -- Authorities have released the names of the four young men found dead in a car after an accident in central New York.
 
The Oswego County Sheriff's Office says the vehicle was speeding when it left the roadway and became airborne before striking a tree and flipping onto its roof.
 
Authorities believe the crash happened Monday night. The accident was discovered Tuesday morning in the Town of Oswego.
 
The driver was identified as 19-year-old Joseph McCarthy, of Oswego Town. The three passengers were identified as 20-year-old James Stone, 23-year-old Efrain Rodriguez and 23-year-old Joshua Schute, all from the town of Granby.
 
Oswego is on the Lake Ontario shore 36 miles northwest of Syracuse.
