Troy Police arrest bank robbery suspect

TROY -- Troy Police have arrested a man in connection with two bank robberies in the city last week.

Monday night around 5:34 PM members of Troy Police Department Detective Bureau and Patrol Division apprehended Zachary Zeoli of Troy. Zeoili is believed to be responsible for two recent bank robberies that occurred in Troy during the passed week. The first robbery was on March 27th at the First Niagra on 2nd Avenue and the second robbery was on March 29th at the M&T Bank on Hoosick Street.

Zeoli was apprehended in Menands and taken into custody. He was transported to the Troy Police Department where he was charged with two counts of Robbery 3rd degree. Zeoli is scheduled to be arraigned in Troy City Court on Tuesday at 8:30 AM.
