Schenectady housing goes smoke free


SCHENECTADY - - The Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority is celebrating going smoke free today.  The policy went into effect on April 1st and bans all residents and guests from smoking in rooms, or common areas.

The policy applies to all 412 units in its three downtown developments, including Schonowee Village, Lincoln Heights and Ten Eyck Apartments which house seniors and the disabled.
