Albany Police investigate two robberies

ALBANY - Albany police are investigating robberies at two convenience stores.

On Tuesday at around 10:00 p.m., The Pearl Street Market, located at 213 South Pearl Street, was robbed at gunpoint.  The victim in the store stated to police that the suspect showed a weapon, but left the store without any money.

Wednesday at 12:00 a.m., Boulevard Grocery, located at 139 Henry Johnson Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint.  Police say the man entered the store armed with a handgun and left the store with cash.

Albany police are investigating to see if the robberies are connected.
