Significant Winter Storm Possible From Monday Night Through Tuesday

An area of low pressure will track to our south through Monday.  Some light snow should develop through Monday afternoon and evening as a result.  The low pressure will then rapidly intensify off of the Northeast coast Monday night and Tuesday.  Uncertainty remains as to the exact track of this low pressure, but if it tracks close enough to the coast, portions of the area could see a significant snowfall.

Couple accused of welfare fraud

FORT EDWARD -- A Fort Edward couple is facing grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing money from the welfare system.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested William Durham,
39, and his girlfriend, Tristina Ferry, 27,  for collecting Medicaid benefits without reporting additional income. 

Investigators say Durham and Ferry received $2,490.34 in
benefits they were not entitled. 

The arrests came after an investigation by the Washington County Department of Social Services and the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
