Police: DWI arrest for reverse driver

LAKE GEORGE - A man was arrested after police say he was driving drunk down a Lake George road in reverse.

The Warren County Sheriff's  Office say 23-year-old Alexander Dillon of Lake George was driving down Old Military Road in reverse at around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, when he left the roadway.  Police say he had a punctured right front tire.

Dillon was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and was found to have a blood alcohol content of .19%.

Police found Dillon’s car was not registered, insured or inspected and had license plates from a different vehicle.  Dillon himself had 20 active suspensions on his license along with a revocation due to a previous DWI arrest.  He also had two active warrants out of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Glens Falls Police.

Dillon was arraigned Saturday morning in Lake George Town Court.
