Missing Elderly woman with Alzheimer's

SCHENECTADY -- Police are still asking for the public's help in looking for Mary Wright.

Schenectady Police, with the assistance of the New York State Forest Rangers and many volunteers, have conducted very thorough searches of the wooded areas near her home, the Woodlawn Drainage Project, as well as Vale Cemetery and Vale Park, all with negative results.  The ponds within Vale Park were checked by members of the New York State Police Dive Team, also with negative results.

UPDATE: SCHENECTADY - Divers were in the water Sunday morning searching for a missing Schenectady woman.

Schenectady Police say 68-year-old Mary Wright was seen sometime after midnight Friday and were searching the lake near Vale Cemetery.

Wright wandered away from her home on Queens Drive early Friday morning.

SCHENECTADY -- The Schenectady Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing elderly woman.

68-year-old Mary Wright wandered away from her home on Queens Drive early Friday morning.

Wright is African American, about 5'6", has black and gray hair and weighs around 210 pounds. She was last seeing wearing a white undershirt and blue capri pajama pants.

Wright suffers from Alzheimers, has insulin dependent diabetes and high blood pressure.
