Fmr. Brighter Choice CFO sentenced for stealing
ALBANY -- Former Brighter Choice Foundation CFO Ronald Racela was sentenced to up to 15 years behind bars on Tuesday.
The 49-year-old man admitted to stealing more than $200,000 from the foundation, and also made false payroll entries in the financial records for nearly a year.
In addition to the prison time, Racela was ordered to pay nearly $175,000 in restitution to the Brighter Choice Foundation.
