Moderate to Heavy Snow @ Times to Continue Through the Evening

Narrow bands of moderate to heavy snow continue to evolve across the region in response to the storm developing to our south.  Expect periods of 1" to occasionally 2" per hour snowfall rates through 8-10pm with snowfall becoming lighter and more intermittent through the pre-dawn hours on Thursday. Poor to difficult travel conditions in low visibility and snow packed roads will persist well into the night.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Man arrested for sexually abusing child on field trip

ALBANY -- A 22-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly had inappropriate contact with a Kindergarten student in a restroom at the New York State Museum.
State Police said that the student, a 6-year-old boy from Cambridge Elementary School, was on a field trip at the museum on Tuesday morning.  He went into the men's restroom while his mother waited outside.   Police said that Edward Tubbs, Jr. subjected the student to sexual contact while in the restroom, and immediately ran away before being arrested by Troopers on the Empire State Plaza.
Tubbs was charged with and charged with First Degree Sexual Abuse and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
State Police said that the child was not physically harmed during the incident.
