Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Monday Night into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England Monday night, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind at times causing blowing and drifting snow, potential whiteout conditions at times leading to dangerous travel late Monday night through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Police: man charged with stealing cell phone

WARRENSBURG - A man was arrested on robbery charges after police say he stole a cell phone.

28-year-old Jonathan Gallagher of 232 Warrensburgh Road in Stony Creek was arrested after Police say he forcibly stole a cell phone at the home of a friend in a Hudson Street home in Warrensburg.

Police say Gallagher also resisted and struggled, refusing to be handcuffed.

A 9mm rifle was also recovered at the scene.

Gallagher was arraigned Tuesday on robbery and resisting arrest charges in Warrensburg Court and sent to Warren County Correctional Facility.

Also arrested, 25-year-old Franciso Ordonez of Main Street Warrensburg, and charged with possession of stolen property. 

Ordonez was released pending a future court date.
