Colonie cops find stolen guns, crossbows, ammo during traffic stop

COLONIE -- Colonie Police arrest three men they say stole over a dozen guns, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and various other weapons from a local homes.

34-year-old Jesse Rodriguez of Vermont, 28-year-old Dale Olmstead of Albany and 30-year-old Sebastian Shepard of Florida are charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property. 

Colonie Police say during a traffic stop in the Town of Colonie, officers found eight rifles, three shotguns, two black powder handguns, two crossbows, two compound bows, three knives and 100's of rounds of ammunition. 

Police say some of the rifles may have been stolen during a burglary in Schoharie County. 

More charges against the men could be coming.
