Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Pilot in Ohio plane crash was Glenville native

UPDATE: CBS6 has spoken with the brother of the pilot whose plane  crashed at an airshow in Ohio Saturday and confirmed that 64-year-old Charlie Schwenker was a Glenville native.

According to the PostStar, Jane Wicker, performing a wing walking stunt, was also killed when the plane crashed and burst into flames.

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Federal officials say they will investigate the deadly Ohio air show crash that took the lives of a wing walker and the pilot.

Thousands were watching the biplane at the Vectren Air Show near Dayton on Saturday as it glided through the sky then rolled over, crashed and exploded into flames. It wasn't clear what had gone wrong.

The show was canceled for the rest of the day, and the National Transportation Safety Board said it is investigating the crash.

In 2011, wing walker Todd Green fell 200 feet to his death at an air show in Michigan while performing a stunt. In 2007, veteran stunt pilot Jim LeRoy was killed at the Dayton show when his biplane slammed into the runway while performing loop-to-loops and caught fire.
