Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Cohoes public pool opens Saturday, June 22

COHOES -- Lansing Pool in Cohoes will open for the summer on Saturday, June 22.
The pool will be open seven days a week from 12-7pm.
 Swimming at Lansing Pool will again be FREE for all Cohoes residents but please remember that you must show proof of residency upon entering the pool. 

Proof of residence can be shown by presenting one of the following items:
Current Cohoes City School ID or Report Card
Drivers License
Current Utility Bill
Current City of Cohoes Tax Bill

Non-residents will be charged $5.00 per day to use the pool facility.
The City of Cohoes also would like to remind you that any children under the age of 12 wishing to swim at the pool MUST be accompanied by an adult.  Young children who are dropped off at the pool alone will not be able to swim due to safety concerns.
Adult Swim will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7PM weather permitting.  This means that all youth must vacate the pool by 6PM.
