Vt. spa owner accused of allowing prostitution

WILLISTON, Vt. (AP) -- Police say the owner of a spa in Williston, Vt., has been charged with allowing prostitution at the business.

Police said on Wednesday night, they gathered information from witnesses/clients leaving the Harmony Spa that they had just received sexual services from the employees and provided payment to them.

The owner, 68-year-old Thomas Booska, was arrested Thursday and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Authorities said the employees allegedly providing the sexual services are likely victims of a "larger criminal issue" and are not being charged.
