Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Police ID man who drowned in Lake George

TICONDEROGA -- The Ticonderoga Police Department has released the identity the man who drowned in Lake George on Wednesday.
 
The body of 70-year-old William Wallace was pulled from the water near Cooks Bay which is located on the northern end of Lake George in the Essex County in Ticonderoga.
 
Wallace went missing around 7 p.m. after officials say he went for a swim.

Wallace was from Connecticut but owned a seasonal home on Baldwin Road in Ticonderoga.
