Police: Ex-autoshop worker forged boss' signature, cashed check

HALFMOON -- A former employee of Mackey Automotive in Halfmoon is accused of stealing a business check and cashing it in for himself, according to State Police.
Scott Winslow of Hudson Falls was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.
State Police say Winslow took a draw check from Mackey Automotive without permission, signed the auto-shop owners signature and cashed it in.
Winslow, no longer an employee at the auto-shop, will appear at the Town of Halfmoon Court later this month to answer to the charge.
