Llenroc owner sentenced to forfeit $12.9M mansion, no jail time

UPDATE:
Annie George must forfeit her $12.9 million Llenroc mansion to the federal government after she was found guilty of harboring an illegal immigrant.
At her sentencing today, the Rexford woman was handed down five years probation and eight months house arrest, although where she will serve her detention is unknown. She will not have to serve any jail time or pay any fines.
George was convicted of immigration violation but found not guilty of treating that woman as her slave.




REXFORD -- The woman who harbored an illegal immigrant in her Rexford mansion is being sentenced today.
Federal prosecutors recommended 8 months of home detention for Annie George along with a $20,000 fine and the seizure of her 20,000 square foot mansion known as Llenroc.
The max sentence is a five year prison sentence and a fine of $250,000.
George was convicted of immigration violation but found not guilty of treating that woman as her slave.
