Significant Winter Storm Possible From Monday Night Through Tuesday

An area of low pressure will track to our south through Monday.  Some light snow should develop through Monday afternoon and evening as a result.  The low pressure will then rapidly intensify off of the Northeast coast Monday night and Tuesday.  Uncertainty remains as to the exact track of this low pressure, but if it tracks close enough to the coast, portions of the area could see a significant snowfall.

Saratoga street renamed to honor former commissioner

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- A street in Saratoga Springs has been renamed in honor of a former city commissioner.

Mayor Scott Johnson and Commissioner John Franck proudly announced that the section of Long Alley from Division Street to Woodlawn Avenue is now Connolly Way.

It's in honor of former Commissioner Donald Connolly.

A dedication ceremony was held Wednesday afternoon.

Commissioner Connolly served as Accounts Commissioner from 1970 through 1981.
