Low pressure developing off the Southeast coast will quickly move northeast tracking south of New England through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning and fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Rubber Duck Race down the Feeder Canal

GLENS FALLS - On Saturday, at 12:31, 6000 rubber ducks started their journey down the Feeder Canal at Havilands Cove for the 23rd annual $1 Million Dollar Duck Race.

In association with the duck race, the Kiwanis Club hosted a family fun day filled with family and  children's activities including pony rides, face painting and craft activities.

The winner of the race received $2013.

Local charities represented in the race were House of Grace of the Adirondacks, Warren Washington C.A.R.E., Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizens Center, Inc, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls Foundation.
