Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Two Washington County residents arrested after complaint

FORT EDWARD -- The Washington County Sheriff's office says Heidi and Adam Mayo of Bates Road in White Creek were arrested Thursday after an investigation into a shots fired complaint.

Officers responded to the scene when someone called and claimed he had been shot at while he was training his tracking dogs. The victim says he went to retrieve his dogs and was threatened by Heidi Mayo with a shotgun at that time. While officers were investigating, they found marihuana growing on the property. The marihuana was seized as well as  a 12 gauge shotgun.

Heidi Mayo was charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st, Menacing 2nd and Unlawfully Growing Cannabis . She was arraigned in White Creek Town Court and will appear at a later date.

Adam Mayo was charged with Unlawfully Growing Cannabis and issued an appearance ticket for White Creek Town Court.
