Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Vt. town to host garlic festival

BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) -- One Vermont town will reek of garlic this weekend.
 
The 18th annual Southern Vermont Garlic and Herb Festival starts Saturday in Bennington.
 
Visitors will have a chance to sample everything from garlic ice cream to garlic jelly and pickled garlic.
 
Aside from vendors, there will be live music, a beer and wine garden and activities for children, including a hay maze, face painting and inflatable fun jumps on both Saturday and Sunday.
 
The daily entrance fee is $5 for adults or $8 for the weekend and $1 for children.
