Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Over 1,000 attend HVCC Orientation

TROY -- Full- and part-time students new to Hudson Valley Community College spent their morning Saturday at New Student Orientation.

Over a thousand students and guests came to HVCC for information sessions on academic support services, extracurricular activities and financial aid. Participants also had the opportunity to meet college staff and current students, as well as take a tour of the campus, including the new state-of-the-art Science Center opening for fall classes.
