POTENTIAL WINTER STORM WEDNESDAY INTO THANKGIVING

There remains considerable uncertainty in the track and intensity of an anticipated coastal storm from Wednesday afternoon through early Thanksgiving morning, but confidence is increasing for a storm to bring accumulating snow to much of the region which would cause travel difficulty.  Details on amounts and timing will become more clear over the next twelve to twenty four hours.  Keep up to date on the forecast.

Vt. logger killed in NY accident near Mass. border

STEPHENTOWN (AP) -- New York state police say a Vermont man has been killed in a logging accident near the Massachusetts border.
 
Trooper say 23-year-old William Morse Jr. of East Arlington was logging with a relative in the Rensselaer County town of Stephentown when a falling tree knocked part of a decomposing tree onto him.
 
He died at the scene.
 
The accident happened at about 10 a.m. Thursday. Stephentown is 23 miles east of Albany.
