Occasional Snow To Continue Into the Evening, Slow and Slick Travel Persisting

Occasional snow of varying intensity will continue to fall across the eastern New York and likely redevelop across western New England through the evening hours.  Bursts of locally moderate to heavy snowfall will continue with additional snow accumulations ranging from 1"-3" through 7pm.  Expect slow and slippery travel conditions through this evening.

2 injured in head-on crash in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY -- Albany Street is currently shut down after a two-car accident near Henry Street.
According to Schenectady Police, the cars crashed head-on around 7:45 a.m.
Two people were rushed to Ellis Hospital but the extent of the victims injuries are unknown.
The cause of the crash in under investigation.
As of 8:30 a.m. Albany Street remains closed but is expected to be back open around 9 a.m. after the crash scene is cleared.
